Objectives
PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
- To Propagate the Gan Soo Do ( Grandeza Martial Arts/Way of the Grandeza) and White Kimono Club founded by Grandmaster Casimiro “ Chingi” Grandeza as well as to strengthen the GSD presence in the country and throughout the world.
- To propagate Gan Soo Do and the White Kimono Club Techniques with the authority from the founder Grandmaster Casimiro Grandeza and to adhere to its teachings & principles as well as to practice by heart its core values and moral aspects.
- To host recreational sports, martial arts, demonstration and other related competitions from local, national to international .
- To continuously seek for knowledge and learning in the field of martial arts and develop open mindedness and practicality in the views / opinions / outlook towards martial arts through Gan Soo Do.
- To implement GSD belting system from Whitebelt/Brownbelt/Redbelt to Blackbelt with the classes/levels assigned in its respective belting system.
- To develop a lasting tradition / culture of Martial Arts Class at its finest, a new breed of martial arts aiming for excellence and exceeding expectations.
- To promote camaraderie among Gan Soo Do members and other martial arts organization/style and develop a spirit of cooperation, positive values and professionalism which are essential attributes of true sportsmanship/martial arts.
- To develop a family oriented martial arts organization developing the basic unit of the society and making martial arts a family affair.
- To mold and shape the mental and emotional attitude of all members of Gan Soo Do into high moral values and cultivate upon them humility and self control accordingly anytime , anyplace under all conditions.
- To allow the transformation of Gan Soo Do members into persons with the will and the fortification against any sudden emotional violence as well as promote a lasting tradition / culture of martial arts.
- To inculcate upon every member of Gan Soo Do the importance of Love of God, Love of Country, Respect for elders and respect to the rights of others.
- To engage in fund generating projects for the association by tapping available resources through linkages with concerned government agencies and non government sector
- To do and perform all other acts and deeds as may be necessary, convenient and appropriate for the accomplishment of the foregoing purposes.
